Most concepts and definitions in this page come from Wikipedia.

Point. The place or location where two lines or two arcs intersect. It has no dimension. Points are named using uppercase letters: A, B, C, etc.
A line is a continuous sequence of points. There are curved lines and straight lines.
A straight line is a sequence of points in the same direction. It has no beginning and no end.
A ray (or half-line) is constructed when an arbitrary point A is established on a straight line. Point A marks the beginning of two rays, one in each direction of the straight line.
A line segment is a portion of line limited by two points.
